Changing up the formula after three terrestrial X-COM games, Interceptor takes the fight to the aliens.While the classic base building, research and soldier management are all present. The core gameplay is a space flight sim, which if you can convince it to play well with modern controllers can still be fun if silly time.. I used to love playing this on PSX. It's hard to play nowadays with the dated graphisc and controls.. It's broken! can't even save. no BGM.. Not really a game to recommend to people, at the time it was new and different, a space shooter with research and some basic strategy, in a modern world there is very little to cause any comment other than the now very dated graphics.. once this game had it's flair. It was not to bad back in the days but this game has aged very badly.There is no need playing this old mediocre Wing Commander Rip-off... It just isn't very good...NOT RECOMMENDED!. what the ♥♥♥♥ is this game about even. never starts up when i hit play
